Pathological Waste Transportation & Disposal in Kansas
Pathological waste includes organs, tissues, body parts other than teeth, and fluids removed by trauma or during surgery or autopsy or other medical procedures.
All containers of pathological waste must have a “biohazard label” and be properly marked. We have listed items that generally DO go into the Medi-Waste red bag containers.
Pathological Waste Includes:
- Body parts (except for teeth)
- Items removed during surgery or autopsy
We always ask you to check your facility’s policies and procedures and adhere to your specific guidelines before disposing of waste. If you have questions, please call 855-631-MEDI (6334).
